The Sadistic Century is a fun and challenging road bicycle ride on hilly, smooth, quiet roads in Western Wisconsin. Routes include 200 km, 100 mile, 100 km, 60 km and 50 km lengths with three distinct rest stops mainly in Dunn County, Wisconsin (a short drive from Madison or the Twin Cities Area). We serve a great meal with refreshments after the ride.
The Sadistic Century is an all-volunteer event; not a corporate event.
Join us for the Menomin Meander — a family-friendly bike ride around Lake Menomin! Taking place the same day and starting location as the Sadistic Century, the Menomin Meander offers a shorter, more relaxed route perfect for families and young riders.
Start the morning at 8:30 AM at the Dunn County Fairgrounds with a free kids’ bike helmet giveaway from Doar, Drill & Skow Attorneys at Law. The 9-mile ride begins at 9:00 AM, looping from the Fairgrounds, past the lake then to Wakanda Park for a refreshment stop, then back again. All ages and abilities are welcome — come ride, explore, and enjoy the fun!
